Vanessa Paradis Encouraging Johnny Depp to Pull Out of The Tourist?

I’m honestly not sure I believe this one or not, but online reports allege that Johnny Depp’s beautiful longtime girlfriend (and mother of his two children) Vanessa Paradis wants him to pull out of The Tourist.Seh apparently objected to passionate sex scenes he is filming with Angelina Jolie for The Tourist.

Of course, everyone is speculating that Vanessa wants him to ditch the project because of sexy scenes with Angelina. From what I’ve read, Vanessa Paradis is too confident and too cool to pull something like that, but who knows?
Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie have been filming for days in Venice, but Vaness Paradis is still trying to persuade him to pull out of the project, according to a report in the New York Post.

Of course, this could all be extra publicity for a movie that’s already getting a ton… you can never have too much, after all.

‘He’s currently trying to get out of the movie, but I don’t know if he’s succeeded,’ the source told the Post. But he’s trying, and they’re talking about replacing him with Brad Pitt or Leonardo DiCaprio.’

Life & Style Magazine has obtained a copy of a draft of writer Julian Fellowes’ screenplay for The Tourist, and it describes the steamy shower sex scene between the two. I won’t print it here because I don’t like for things about movies to be given away before I see them, so I won’t do it to you. Surprises are nice… especially when they involve Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp in a shower. Or Leonardo DiCaprio… Or Brad Pitt…..

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were photographed arriving on the set of her new movie “The Tourist” with with all of their beautiful children on Sunday (February 28).

The most famous couple in the world were affectionate and seemed on top of the world – why not, right? I guess they pretty much are.

Earlier in the day, Angelina Jolie reportedly made a visit to co-star Johnny Depp’s place for a movie-related meeting.

Angelina Jolie Chooses Gravity and Isn’t Feeling Wanted

Unfortunately, it appears that Wanted 2 isn’t going to happen after all. Earlier this month, Mark Millar confirmed that Universal Pictures was moving forward with a “Wanted” sequel adding that a script was almost complete. News now, however, is that the movie isn’t going to happen.

Apparently the studio was expecting for Angelina Jolie to return for “Wanted 2,” but she has decided, instead, to head the cast of “Gravity,” a space thriller. Gravity will be directed by Alfonso Cuaron (Children of Men).

Instead of recasting Jolie’s character, Fox, or simply allowing the character to have died, Universal decided to just abandon the sequel. Unfortunate. As a huge fan of the movie, I think they could have moved forward with James McAvoy and brought on a new main female (Maggie Q, Mila Kunis, Zoe Saldana…).

In “Gravity,” Angelina will play the sole surviving human member of a space mission, desperately trying to return home to Earth and her daughter. Angelina Jolie will be alone on-screen for much of the movie – Maybe like Tom Hanks in Castaway?

As the biggest Angelina Jolie fan to ever live – I can get behind that! The Wanted and James McAvoy fan in me is pretty disappointed, though.

The couple and their six children arrived in the beautiful Italian city yesterday and will stay there while Angelina Jolie shoots her new film ‘The Tourist’.

The family arrived in a private plane and took two speedboats to their new home which is a canal side Palazzo, reports the Breaking News website.

In other recent Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt news, the couple recently issued a legal statement stating that their five-year relationship was not in trouble. So take that naysayers!

As part of her UN ambassador role, Angelina Jolie has recently been in Haiti touring refugee camps. According to The Sun, she’s already spoken to Haiti’s president, Leonel Fernandez, about relief aid and the possibility of adopting an orphan from the country.

“She’s made no secret of her desire to adopt again,” a source told The Sun. “Children in Haiti need help. It’s a perfect opportunity.”

Here’s a fantastic video with pictures of Angelina Jolie on her visit to Haiti. The children are so precious – makes me want to hug each and every one. Thank goodness for people like Angelina Jolie who are doing everything they can to help the people (young and old) of Haiti.

On Wednesday, Angelina visited survivors and met with aid workers of last month’s heartbreaking and devastating earthquake in Haiti.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) goodwill ambassador arrived Tuesday to the Haitian capital of Port-au-Prince and visited medical centers and the UN mission, according to the UNHCR’s Web site.

She also visited a cash-for-work program run by the UN Development Programme, which is intended to eventually help 400,000 Haitians earn an income.
“To give people the ability to work towards their own future is so important at this time. It helps to restore their hope and respects their dignity,” Jolie said.

Angelina also visited children’s villages that provide care for newly orphaned children. “I was struck by the strength and spirit of the Haitian people,” she said when visiting a tented hospital. “Children as young as nine months old were coping with amputations with extraordinary resilience. I even met a little 10-year-old boy who had recently had his leg amputated, who was giggling to himself about a silly book as he sat on the floor.”

Prior to arriving to Haiti on Tuesday, Jolie spent a day in the neighboring Dominican Republic to meet with quake survivors.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have contributed $1 million to Doctors Without Borders’ emergency medical care operations in Haiti.

Angelina Jolie has reportedly bought Brad Pitt a £12,000 olive tree for Valentine’s Day. What a cool present – the tree hugger in me highly approves!

The new tree will reside on the grounds of their French house, Chateau Miraval.

A source told UK newspaper The Sun: ‘Ange bought it from a nursery called The English Garden Centre in Valbonne, near their house. It’s a very special tree and cost her a fortune.’

Brad Pitt, 46, and Angelina Jolie, 34, recently dismissed reports that they are splitting and were seen, (smiling, gorgeous, and happy) together at last weekend’s Super Bowl in Florida.
