à I Love These Pics!

à Wanted - Angelina Jolie

I still can't get over how awesome Wanted was (BOTH times I saw it!).

I saw The Dark Knight last night and loved it. It honestly wasn't any better than Wanted, though.

It made me think, though, can you imagine if they did a Batman with Angelina as Cat Woman? Can you even imagine how huge that'd be?
à Last Minute Change for Knox!
With all the ridiculous names celebs pick for their babies, I'm so glad Angelina and Brad chose such great names for their new twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline. I guess we should've known they'd do a great job, all of their kids have perfect names.

According to the New York Daily News, the couple almost named their newborn son Rex instead of Knox. I love both names.

A source tells the publication that the gorgeous couple ordered an embroidered play mat from a baby Website called plainmary.com with the name Rex Leon Jolie Pitt, just weeks before the newborns' birth.

à Welcome Knox and Vivienne !
Maddox, Pax, Zahara, and Shiloh, have a new baby brother and baby sister: Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline. The twins were born by C-Section sometime before 10 p.m last night. Most of the reports said their birthday would be Tuesday, but the new Jolie-Pitts were anxious to see their beautiful family before then.

Dr. Michel Sussmann told the Associated Press the babies, mother and father "are doing marvelously well." Brad was on hand to welcome babies 5 and 6.

What adorable names, I love them.

Congratulations to the ever-growing and ever-fascinating Jolie-Pitt family!

à Brad and Angelina Dislike the One Word "Nickname"
I just read (on TMZ, actually) that Brad and Angelina don't like the term Brangelina. As a huge fan of both of them, I've used it for the last time! Truth be told, I don't think I really used it that much, anyway.

They're two separate people and should be identified as such, right?
à Jane Seymour's Words for Angelina
Apparently Jane Seymour has given Angelina advice through OK Magazine.

“My advice to her is to put some weight on,” she told OK!. “I think she needs to keep putting on weight so she can feed those babies. I don't think she should think twice. She hasn't put on enough weight.”

Seymour,57, says that when she had her twins, John and Kristopher, in 1995, it was a life threatening delivery.

“I nearly died having the twins,” she recalled. “I had preclampsia, which is toxemia, and I had to have an emergency C-section and I almost lost my life. So my advice to her [Jolie] is to listen to your doctors and if they say bed rest and they say blood pressure cuff every hour and they say whatever medication they say, you should take it very seriously.”

I'm sure she was just trying to be helpful and all, but Angelina's in great hands and is a ridiculously intelligent lady. She knows how to care for herself and, most definitely, for her babies - ALL of them!

From all the pics I've seen, it looks to me like Angelina's carrying plenty of weight. She looks beautifully healthy. I'm sure she can't wait for these babies to be born, though!

à The WANTED Soundtrack
Angelina Jolie and James McAvoy from Wanted

One of the greatest things about Wanted was the Soundtrack. It's hot! Every song fits what's going on in the movie perfectly - especially "The Little Things" (not only my favorite track on the soundtrack, it's currently my favorite song, period). When the character of Wesley has a "turning point," the song starts playing and it's one of the greatest music-driven moments in a movie, ever.

Check your local stores, iTunes, and/or online for the cd. You'll listen to it over and over again. Hopefully they'll release "The Little Things" as a single. It'd be huge... it's hot.

By the way, click the WANTED t-nail above for a larger view. I currently have it set as my computer's wallpaper. If I can't get my hands on the actual movie poster, at least I can see it on my computer!
à WANTED - One of the Best Movies Of All Time !
Angelina Jolie and James McAvoy from Wanted

If you haven't seen WANTED yet, you have to go. I've seen it twice and, I swear, I'd love nothing more than to go see it again.

It's one of the best movies ever (and trust me, I'm a movie fanatic, I've seen them all). James McAvoy and Angelina give amazing performances - this is James at his best. He was so hilarious!

The action scenes are like nothing you've ever seen. When Fox (Angelina's character) goes down to avoid a tunnel... hotness! The fact that such a femine and beautiful actress can be so perfectly believable in a bad @ss role like this just proves what we already knew: Angelina's the best actress of our day, or any other. She's in her own league. Her beauty and love life (understandably) get SO much attention that, it seems to me, she doesn't get the recognition she deserves as an actress.

Unlike a lot of other great actresses, Angelina does every genre and is perfectly flawless in each. Comedy, drama, action, animation.... She always makes us proud to be a fan, doesn't she?

James McAvor is well on his way to being a huge star, too. He proved what an incredible actor he was in Atonement, but I liked him even more in WANTED. I can't imagine any other actor in this role - he made you feel every emotion his character felt and I can't say enough good things about him. He just showed a range that was remarkable. He blew me away - the whole movie did!

Go see this movie... And then go see it again! I'll probably see you there!

à Lost Posts and Updates!
I'm sure you've noticed a few updates missing - like my review of WANTED as well as the one about the WANTED soundtrack. We had to move all of our websites to a larger server and somehow about 2 week's worth of updates were totally lost.

I was in a total funk until I saw that Steph lost her entire Zac Efron gallery (like 10,000 or more pics with views in the thousands!) - she's having to start ALL over. I didn't lose any of Angelina's, Keira's, or Megan's pictures - so, yeah, I'm not complaining anymore.
à Angelina Jolie is Considering Sin City 2
Angelina Jolie is considering taking a role in Sin City 2, because she is intrigued with finding out what director Frank Miller can come up with next. Miller, of course, is said to love the idea of having Angelina on board for the flick. No kidding!

The director already has a character lined up for her and is eager for her to take a close look at the script. For her part, she's interested because she thinks the moviemaker is a "genius".

"I found the first Sin City impressive, but I don't know what they're going to do with the next one to make (it) as original as the first one," Contactmusic quoted Jolie as telling MTV.com. "I'd be curious. I think he's a genius," she added.

Fingers crossed - I think it'd be a match made in movie heaven.

à The Wanted Movie Soundtrack !

The days seem to be dragging now that Wanted's big day is almost here. Less than a week now and I absolutely think I'll explode if Friday doesn't hurry up.

This is really cool news, though. There's a soundtrack for Wanted - I had no idea one existed, or I'd have been overly excited for its arrival, too. All the information you need to know is below. Grab the soundtrack, grab your movie tickets - the movie and the cd both look like they'll be amazing!

(June 5, 2008- Los Angeles, CA) – Lakeshore Records will release the soundtrack for WANTED on June 24th. The soundtrack features music composed by Danny Elfman, including the original song “The Little Things”.

Danny Elfman is a Grammy Award®-winning, Academy Award®-nominated composer who began his career in the Los Angeles-based band Oingo Boingo. A self-taught musician and composer, his brother filmmaker Richard Elfman, asked Elfman to provide music for his first film FORBIDDEN ZONE. Oingo Boingo would go on to release 8 albums and would contribute music for such classic 80s films as FAST TIMES AT RIDGEMONT HIGH, BACHELOR PARTY, WEIRD SCIENCE and SOMETHING WILD.

It would be 1985’s PEE-WEE’S BIG ADVENTURE that started a prolific relationship with director Tim Burton. The two would collaborate on such films as BEETLE JUICE, EDWARD SCISSORHANDS, BATMAN and BATMAN RETURNS, MARS ATTACKS!, CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY, and CORPSE BRIDE, to name a few. Elfman’s non-Burton scores include DICK TRACY, DEAD PRESIDENTS, GOOD WILL HUNTING, MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE, and MEN IN BLACK I & II. Together with the Batman films, Elfman has completed a superhero trifecta, composing for two films in the Batman series, two films in the SPIDER-MAN series, and 2003’s HULK.

Based upon Mark Millar’s explosive graphic novel series and helmed by stunning visualist director Timur Bekmambetov—creator of the most successful Russian film franchise in history, the Night Watch series—WANTED tells the tale of one apathetic nobody’s transformation into an unparalleled enforcer of justice.

In 2008, the world will be introduced to a hero for a new generation: Wesley Gibson. 25-year-old Wes (James McAvoy) was the most disaffected, cube-dwelling drone the planet had ever known. His boss chewed him out hourly, his girlfriend ignored him routinely and his life plodded on interminably. Everyone was certain this disengaged slacker would amount to nothing. There was little else for Wes to do but wile away the days and die in his slow, clock-punching rut. Until he met a woman named Fox (Angelina Jolie). After his estranged father is murdered, the deadly sexy Fox recruits Wes into the Fraternity, a secret society led by Sloan (Morgan Freeman) that trains Wes to avenge his dad’s death by unlocking his dormant powers. But, slowly, he begins to realize there is more to his dangerous associates than meets the eye. And as he wavers between newfound heroism and vengeance, Wes will come to learn what no one could ever teach him: he alone controls his destiny

Universal Pictures presents WANTED, in theaters on June 27, 2008. WANTED original soundtrack on Lakeshore Records will be available in stores and via iTunes on June 24th.
à Angelina Video
Angelina talks about working with the hilarious Jack Black:

If you haven't seen this movie yet, go see it! Seen in? See it again!
à Kung Fu Panda!

If you haven't seen Kung Fu Panda yet, getteth thou butt to the theater and see it! This movie is hilarious. I honestly didn't expect to love an animated film quite as much as I did this one, but I was engrossed every second of the movie.

Those of us who were adults in the theater laughed our freakin' heads off - we outlaughed the kids, actually. I have Tigress as my computer's wallpaper right now and I'm pretty certain I'll be buying everything I can find with her image on it.

After the movie was over and the credits were rolling, people were like, "Angelina Jolie?! Angelina was brilliant, as were Jack Black, Dustin Hoffman and everyone else. I'm going to see this movie again before the week's out.

à Big Pimpin' in the Jolie-Pitt Nursery
New York Daily News’ Rush & Molloy reports that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have created a paradise for their soon-to-be-born babies to come home to.

They have spent a reported $140,000 to create this paradise. But what do you expect - paradises don't come cheap.

The gorgeous couple reportedly bought the high-brow items at a chic Los Angeles baby store called Petit Tresor. (It even sounds expensive.)

The twins can look forward to organza bassinets ($800), Versailles-style cribs ($3,200), two pink crystal chandeliers ($900 for each of the sparkling light fixtures!), and armoires ($4,500 each).

Even the toys were haughty taughty — Brad and Angelina bought baby toys that were made out of cashmere. They bought so much that it apparently took three store employees to gather everything together. Lucky employees! Luckier twins, of course... but lucky employees nonetheless.

Reports say that news of this nursery paradise has parents from as far away as "Dubai" calling the baby boutique asking to have the same items that Bradgelina picked out.

à Happy Birthday, Angelina!
Angelina Jolie is 33 years gorgeous today. How amazing would it be if her twins were born on her birthday. Just a suggestion from me to the cosmos....

At any rate, I hope her birthday is as wonderful as she deserves for it to be.

I saw a movie reivew show yesterday that gave really high marks to Kung Fu Panda. The experts said it was one everyone should see. Are you kidding me, if Angelina has anything to do with a movie, I'm SO there. But, then you add the adorably hilarious Jack Black - I'm there with bells on.
